Take a Cruise

11 June, 2011 | | No Comment

This year, my husband and I had some money left over from our taxes and so we decided that it would be nice if we went on a vacation this summer. We wanted to be able to do something that the entire family would enjoy, and so we knew that we were going to have to do something that would be fun for the kids and for us adults as well. The more we thought about it, the more we thought it would be great to find out if we could afford to go on all inclusive Carival cruises for our vacation. Our kids were thrilled about the idea and so we went ahead and started pricing it around. We found the website http://yourallinclusivecruises.com which was so helpful when it came to actually getting the cruise booked and figuring everything out for it. We had an absolutely amazing time and would love to do it again.

All Inclusive Cruises Including Alcohol

Someone once asked me what is the most common misunderstood component of cruising and I told them is the myth of all inclusive cruises including alcohol. Having alcohol included in the price of a cruise was something that was available only back in the grand old days of cruising when the well-healed aristocrats walking above decks on their promenades as the lower class suffered below decks without as much as a port hole. Back in the day, cruising was a form of transport for holiday travelers that came at a very high price when the object was pleasure rather than necessity. Cruises as a form of vacation was by far, then most expensive activity available and because of such high fares, alcohol was included in the price of the cruise. My exhaustive research reveals that there were no such things as split fares or early booking discounts as there all today. The price was the price and there was no negotiation unless the person was a friend of a cruise line employee, friend of the cruise lines management or some famous people like movie stars and sport figures.
