What Kids Need During a Vacation

6 November, 2011 | | No Comment

The sole intention of bringing a child to the Bahamas is to let them experience the beauty of life at an early age. Though this is very important to you, it wouldn’t matter to a child as of the moment because the only thing that kids want to do today is to run around or play computer games. However, when your son or daughter look back 15 years from now, they would be very thankful that you brought them there. Bringing them would be tiring. You would have to take care of all of their baggage most especially when you don’t have a helper on hand. As soon as you land in the Bahamas, you would have to unload all of your kids stuff because it would be very hard to find the thing that you need whenever there is a ketchup or mustard accident. Experiencing a vacation to the Bahamas would be very helpful for their lives because at a very young age, they would understand that life has its ups as well. It is important to make them realize that so that they wouldn’t take things for granted when they grow older.

Good Driving Directions by Mapquest

22 August, 2011 | | No Comment

If you want to find great driving directions then you can go online and use your favorite search engine to find the best online mapping sites. Most web mapping softwares include route planning tools that allow you to plot efficient routes that will help you save time and money, my favorite web mapping softwares are Google Maps and Mapquest, both sites are free and both sites offer accurate routes that will make your driving experience a lot better. Mapquest driving directions have been helping drivers find the best routes for almost sixteen years, this service was one of the first web mapping services ever, now they even offer free apps for mobile devices, for example just a couple of days ago I installed M4M on my android powered smartphone, now I don’t even have to look at a screen to know when to make turns and which roads to take because this app offers free turn by turn voiced guided driving directions.

Honeymooners and the Bahamas Family Resort

25 June, 2011 | | No Comment

Now that you and your partner are married, you’ll need special space to have your honeymoon. Bahamas family resort hotels are the perfect couple’s getaway. Don’t let the name fool you. Despite the use of the word ?family? These really have all the luxuries you’ll need to make your honeymoon memorable. Enjoy the private stretch of beach owned by many island hotels, or go somewhere where the tourist crowds can’t find you, like a picnic spot just outside of the local town. If you want to make your vacation extremely romantic, engage in a moonlight swim in the ocean. The feel of fish tickling your toes and the night wind carrying your happy laughs will be memories which stay with you well into your old age. Drink champagne and eat fresh strawberries for breakfast when you wake up in the mornings. Holiday eating has no consequences, as long as it’s over a short period of time.

Why Costa Rica is a Must

23 June, 2011 | | No Comment

Luxury travel in Costa Rica? It almost seems redundant or like the two would cancel each other out, right? Just imagine what luxury would look like in the most beautiful land with a name that means the rich coast. Travel across the country is beautiful to say the least, but by adding the word luxury to your search, you’ll uncover volcanoes by day, and volcano mud masks to balance your adventure out. Magazines and travel brochures with names like Luxury Travel Magazine all don pictures of the brilliant blue coast of this rich country. From the Four Seasons, to the Casa Ramon villas, many of the descriptions of the luxurious amenities are certain to appeal to the prada and porsche jet setters traveling today. From the natural organic coffee scrub, to the bamboo massage, some of the all-inclusive luxury packages are simply amazing. Site-seeing, adventures, and discovering the natural wonders of the wealthy coast of Costa Rica are all on the agenda for any trip to this rich land and sea.

On the Hunt

I am usually great at finding the best hotel room deals for our family vacations, but lately I have been in a little bit of a slump. It seems like many of the websites I usually go to are starting to change the way they do things, are all about the same price in the end, and have way too many hidden fees. When I was a little bit younger, I even signed up for a hotel online, drove all the way down to our location, only to discover that there was a $200 cash deposit per person for everyone under the age of 25 because there was not a member in our party who was above 25 years old. That was an embarrassment and one of the biggest vacation hassles I have ever had to deal with. I prefer websites that find the real deals, and connect with both the hotels and the visitors, without abusing us in the process.

This Hotels Offers Many Amenities

29 May, 2011 | | No Comment

When I travel, I don’t want to stay at just any old hotel. I want to go to a place that is going to pamper me from the moment I walk in the front door. That is why I went the extra mile and booked my vacation at a boutique hotel Koh Samui. Not only is this place located in a beautiful area of the world, but they also cater to people who want the full spa experience when they arrive. I have my week here filled with appointments for massages, facials, the sauna, and a ton of other pampering activities that are going to do nothing but relax me. In the evening, I can enjoy dinner at the restaurants that have some of the best food around. Between the food, the view of the water, and the amazing staff that they have on hand I am not sure that I am going to want to leave this place.

Experiencing Renewal in Southeast Asia

1 May, 2011 | | No Comment

To renew oneself, you need a quiet place to yourself where you can reflect on your past, present and future. This is a central principle to almost every faith and religion that exists out there. However, many people are not able to get into this groove because they live in the city. It is no wonder – because hwo can you do all of the above mentioned reflections if you are being pressed by the things you need to do? Totally not going to happen! And so point given, one of the very best places to experience renewal is in Southeast Asia.

Just to give an example, I went on a trip 3 years ago to Bali, Indonesia. I stayed at Bali villas and I got to visit all the temples in the area. I was alone on the whole trip – and I think that really helped me. What’s more, the smiles of the people and the lessons I learned from their spiritual practices really got me in the groove. I have since visited other places for renewal in Southeast Asia.

Be Theatrical in a Belfast Hotel

28 March, 2011 | | No Comment

If you like theatre, an experience you should not miss is to watch one of the many performances in the Grand Opera House of Belfast. A string of performances, of varying genres, is spread throughout the year. This May for example, you can choose between the romantic ballet performance of Cleopatra, and the side splitting comedy, Spamalot. The romantic and the whacky will definitely have a very satisfying evening as both performances are acclaimed in their own rights. Cleopatra is one of this year’s must-see ballets where Les Miserables and Miss Saigon composer, Claude-Michel Schonberg, and Northern Ballet Director, David Nixon OB, combine their talents to bring the romantic and sensual story of Cleopatra to the stage. Spamlot on the other hand, is a Tony award winning musical that has brought people from around the world burst into roaring laughter. Whatever your choice is, I’m sure your comfy belfast hotel room will be there for you, waiting, whether you come back laughing or crying.

Spend a Delightful Getaway to the Stunning White Sand Beaches in Catanduanes

8 February, 2011 | | No Comment

Catanduanes is a part of the Bicol region. To get there you need to ride a plane to Virac (the capital of Catanduanes) for about an hour and then ride a car for another 2 hours. Some areas in Catanduanes are ideal for surfing because of the big waves. Surfers from all over the wave come from all over the world to experience what they call the “majestic” waves there. There are also other more calm beaches in Catanduanes.

This is a great place to take your Filipina girlfriend so you can enjoy romantic dates on the beautiful white sand beaches. Unlike other party beaches like Boracay, beaches in Catanduanes are more relaxing and peaceful so you can really escape from the stressful life in the city.

You can also go exploring the different coral formations and caves all over the province. There are also hiking trails available so you can enjoy the true beauty of nature.
